Solar Project Permitting: Foundations

This course equips municipal and permitting officers and other key authorities who may be consulted on solar applications, with the fundamental technical and procedural background of solar project development and permitting. This course gives you an enhanced understanding of solar energy projects with the aim of making more informed and effective decisions, enabling better collaboration with developers, improving permitting timeframes and ultimately enabling rapid delivery of solar energy projects. By building confidence and expertise, municipal staff will help accelerate solar adoption, meet EU and Paris Agreement targets, and foster cleaner, more resilient communities.
